Community and student engagement continues

This week, we continued our Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 engagement efforts, ensuring that voices from across the district—students, families, staff, and community members—are helping shape the future of Robbinsdale Area Schools.

📍 Community Engagement Event:

✔ March 10 – FAIR Crystal (Indigenous Community Engagement)

📍 Staff Engagement Meetings:

✔ March 11 – Meadow Lake Elementary
✔ March 13 – FAIR Pilgrim Lane

📍 Student Engagement at Cooper High School:

✔ March 12-14 – Grade-level student meetings

Superintendent Dr. Teri Staloch reflected on the importance of these discussions: "These conversations are powerful. Every time we engage with students, staff, and community members, we gain new insights that help us create a future where all learners thrive."

Two distinct but interconnected efforts

Just as a reminder, Rdale is working on two critical efforts that, while separate, must align for long-term success:

🔹 Budget deficit and stabilization: The district must cut $21 million for the 2025-26 school year to restore financial stability.
🔹 Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030: A long-term planning initiative to create a strong, sustainable, and competitive future for our district.

Superintendent Dr. Teri Staloch reinforced the connection between these efforts: "Balancing our budget is essential, but it must be done with the future in mind. Every decision we make today should help us build a stronger, more sustainable district for generations to come."
