Election Day – Tuesday, Nov. 5 – is a big day for many reasons. In addition to national and state races, residents of the communities that make up Robbinsdale Area Schools will be voting on extending our current technology levy referendum for another 10 years (through 2034-35).
Funds through the levy will pay for technology: for learning and safer schools and to support staff. One of the most important aspects of the referendum is that the renewed levy will be at the same tax rate: 4.207 percent. It will provide about $7 million in funds annually starting in the next school year.
