Neill Elementary has a partnership with Calvary Lutheran Church, and The Food Group to provide food on the weekends for children who attend our school. Due to the challenging economy, many families are experiencing needs more than they have in the past. In consideration of those growing needs, our community is demonstrating a strong desire to provide our students with the healthiest learning environment possible both in and out of the classroom. Neill Elementary has gladly joined with Calvary Lutheran Church, and The Food Group to bring hope and provisions through the Weekend KidPack Program.
On the last day of the week, students will be given a Weekend KidPack, which will be inserted in the child’s existing backpack, with a number of food items inside. This program is completely voluntary and is at no cost to the students and their families. If your family is experiencing financial difficulties and you are interested in participating, just complete the form below and return to the school office. Forms may take 1-2 weeks to process before your child begins receiving his/her Weekend Kidpack.
Students and Parents/Guardians are to follow one rule:
Students are not allowed to open food packs on the bus or while in school. They must wait until they are home. School bus drivers are advised of this and your child’s Kidpack distribution will be terminated if the policy is not followed.
