Hello Roadrunner Families,
We are so proud of how hard our 5th grade students focused to complete the Science MCA last week. Our third through fifth graders also have been very focused yesterday and today while working on their Reading MCA. Thank you for ensuring your student is well rested and arriving on time to school for testing.
It was so wonderful to see so many 4th and 5th grade families, and others, at our band/orchestra/music concert last Wednesday evening. The students did a spectacular job singing and playing instruments for everyone. Another big thanks to Ms. Wahlin, Ms. Koopman, and Ms. Vajda for putting together an excellent show! I was very proud of all our students.
Finally, I hope you all are able to find some time to rest and relax over spring break which starts March 23rd and goes through April 1st. We will see all our Roadrunners back at school on Tuesday April 2nd.
Please see below for other important updates and information.

Hello 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Families.
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) and Minnesota Test of Academic Skills (MTAS) are reading, mathematics and science standards-based assessments used to meet federal and state legislative requirements. These assessments measure achievement of the Minnesota Academic Standards. Most students take the MCA, but students who receive special education services and meet the MTAS eligibility requirements may take the MTAS instead.
